Question 1

Are Morgan Hope products manufactured in the UK?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Morgan Hope products are designed and manufactured in Britain, with most of our luminaires assembled at our Southport facility. We use UK and EU-sourced components wherever practical and quality-test every fixture before it ships.

Question 2

Is Morgan Hope a UK supplier?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Morgan Hope Industries is a UK specialist supplier of energy-efficient LED lighting, lighting controls and heating systems, based in Southport and established in 1992. We supply and install across the UK, selecting the right products to suit each project.

Question 3

What's the typical lifespan of a Morgan Hope LED product?

Accepted Answer

LED lifespan varies by product and operating environment. The rated life — and L70 / L90 figures where available — is listed on each product's spec sheet.

Question 4

What warranty do Morgan Hope products carry?

Accepted Answer

Warranty varies by product range. The warranty period for each item is shown on its product page; please contact us if you need it confirmed for a specific product.

Question 5

Can you retrofit our existing fittings instead of replacing them?

Accepted Answer

Often yes. Our bespoke gear-tray service supplies custom retrofit gear trays that drop into existing luminaire housings — keeping the original carcass, wiring and brackets while delivering modern LED performance. Retrofits are typically faster to install, cheaper to deliver, and produce far less waste than full replacement. See our case studies for Preston Station Car Park and Arriva Trains Wales for concrete examples.

Question 6

Do you do site surveys?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For projects of any meaningful scale we send a member of the team on-site to measure existing lighting levels, audit failure modes, and identify the appropriate fixture or retrofit approach. Contact us to arrange a survey for your site.

Question 7

How do I get a quote?

Accepted Answer

For products in the Store section, prices are listed on the product page. For non-stocked items, bespoke designs, or larger volumes, use the Contact form or request a quote on the product page itself and we'll come back to you with a quotation.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Online orders via the Store accept all major debit and credit cards (processed through Stripe). For project orders we accept bank transfer against a signed quotation. We're VAT-registered; UK customers see VAT-inclusive pricing on stock items by default.

Question 9

What are typical lead times?

Accepted Answer

Lead times vary by product and quantity. Stocked Store items ship promptly; project orders for bespoke or large-volume builds vary by specification, and a representative lead time is included in every quotation.

Question 10

Do you ship outside the UK?

Accepted Answer

Contact us before placing an order for delivery outside the UK — we'll confirm whether we can ship to your destination and quote carriage per shipment.

Question 11

Do your products carry CE / UKCA certification?

Accepted Answer

Compliance markings vary by product range. The certifications that apply to a specific product, along with test certificates for project specifications, are available on request.

Question 12

Do you supply photometric (LDT / IES) files?

Accepted Answer

Photometric files for most products are available on request — useful for lighting designers running Dialux, Relux or AGi32 simulations. Contact us with the product slug and we'll send the appropriate files; we're also working on attaching them to product pages over the coming weeks.

Question 13

How energy efficient are your products?

Accepted Answer

Actual savings depend on the existing fitting type, hours of operation, and whether controls (PIR, daylight dimming) are included. We can estimate the saving for your site as part of a survey or quotation.
